Goethe popularized the travel novel with his Italian Diary. However, he remains mainly in Europe. The author knows the whole world. He was a UN director in Moscow and knows Europe and America from countless trips. And there is another point where he differs from the poet prince, who complains in his travel memoirs that he was often not properly understood in Italy. Our author, on the other hand, studied Italian and speaks six languages.
