Kai von Wendelstein (Schröder)
It's amazing that the post office uses a simple truck to collect parcels from the individual branches in order to also collect the revenue from the Postbank located there once a month.
And on a Friday after Ascension Day, just such a parcel delivery vehicle is robbed by involving it in a traffic accident. And it is just such a coincidence that on this very day and at this very time, Dr. Peter Graf passes this country road in the municipality of Wendelstein on his bike while training for the Roth Marathon. At first he thought it was a film scene for a crime thriller, but he soon realizes that this is a real robbery.
So, as a joke, he decides to intervene by locking the two robbers in the hold of the truck and driving off in the getaway vehicle, a Mercedes with Nuremberg license plates.
But what he doesn't know is that two of his employees at his gynecological practice are involved in this case, which quickly leads the police investigation to focus on him. In principle, he has nothing to gain from the robbery, as the money is taken from him fairly quickly. But the investigating detectives, first and foremost Chief Inspector Schuler, who is even shot in the neck and killed, as is the doctor's assistant Jasmin, doubt this, which is attributed to Peter Graf.
But first prove that this is not the case. But at least the stolen money is recovered, even if not the actual culprit, who Dr. Graf can even name, which the police doubt, as the man had once worked for the police as a helicopter pilot. But at least a magistrate releases Dr. Graf from custody on the basis of an arrest warrant issued by Inspector Schuler.
