Frank – an experienced police trainer – is facing the greatest challenge of his life completely unexpectedly.

He is delegated to Chicago, where his job develops into an extreme grind. A drug dealer aiming for „big business,“ a peculiar serial killer, and an overwhelmed police department are bad enough. But a young woman involved in drug deals also ignites his protective instincts, and he doesn't know how to handle it himself. He threatens to collapse under the multifaceted pressure.

The revelation of an unforeseen secret from the past ultimately throws everything into disarray. While this explains some things, it also creates new, even more difficult problems.

Frank is now forced to find solutions for everything that are not only dangerous for him, but also for others, indeed even life-threatening.
