Otto Lummitzsch – eine politische Biografie (Kretzinger)

Everyone knows the Technical Relief Agency today, but very few know its founder: Otto Lummitzsch. This political biography examines his life's journey: from service in the First World War through the political turmoil of the Weimar Republic and his attitude during the Nazi era to the early Federal Republic, where the THW was established. This partially updated work is based on the Master's thesis submitted by Boris Kretzinger in 2009 at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn and marks the beginning of the historical examination of the Technical Relief Agency and its predecessor organizations.

Boris Kretzinger, born in 1981, is a historian, non-fiction author, and works in corporate communications. This book is based on his master's thesis at the Rhenish Friedrich-Wilhelm University from 2009. Kretzinger was a volunteer helper with the THW for over ten years.
