About the author
Nicholas Burk was born on 12.08.1996 in Lohr a. Main. From an early age, he was interested in art and design as well as cooking and baking. He took part in cooking courses and graffiti workshops from an early age.
"After finishing the 10th grade of high school, I decided to continue on the path of art and applied to a college of design with an entrance exam. Now I've also started running the graffiti courses I used to attend myself and teaching young people interested in this art."
After two and a half years of intensive media design studies and further training, Nicholas Burk finally started to develop this cookbook as part of his bachelor's thesis.
"As I have always been addicted to design and cooking, I wanted to combine the two in my bachelor's thesis. That's how the idea for this book came about. In order to also include a social aspect, the food bank was brought in to design a cookbook for its customers."
