Lousie and Aunt Elfriede take a walk and discuss what happens when you are dead. Aunt Elfriede explains to Lousie how to learn the language of souls and how to feel the souls when they come to visit us. Grandma Gerda and the fat dachshund Pommes are used as examples - they are both dead, but promptly come flying over when they realize that they are being talked about.

Unfortunately, Lousie doesn't feel anything at first. Nor do they find out where the secret world of souls is. But they do find out how to send letters, love, kisses, light and pictures to the secret world of the dead!

And last but not least, Louise even felt a little wet kiss on the tip of her nose and is sure that it could only have come from Grandma Gerda ...

For me, it is one of the best children's books on this subject. I am really fascinated.
