Louise and Aunt Elfriede are on their way to the swimming pool because Louise finally wants to dare to swim without water wings.
In high spirits, she trills a cheerful "Papa-la-Papp" through the streets on the way there, once again noticing on closer inspection:
"Why does everyone have a dad but me?"
Fortunately, Aunt Elfriede is an aunt with answers and explains to Louise without further ado that there are many ways to be a dad, because becoming a dad is not difficult, but being a dad is even more so.
Aunt Elfriede and Louise talk about learning new things, daring to try new things, overcoming fear, half measures, whole measures, jumping in at the deep end and, last but not least, how to become a dad in the first place.
