Algrecos' volume "Die Griechenland-Malaise" (The Greek Malaise), published in 2016, offers a somewhat different view of this mixed situation, but above all of the distorted images of the respective others in the public eye - the Greeks in Germany and the Germans in Greece - that have been stimulated by it; the work, which is primarily inspired by the spirit of international understanding, has been given an unexpected additional topicality by recent developments.
